BBA Programmes:

The University of Auckland Business School offers four undergraduate business programs:

  • Bachelor of Commerce (BCom): The Business School at the University of Auckland presents four undergraduate business programs. One of them is the Bachelor of Commerce (BCom), which is a comprehensive business degree that establishes a firm base in business basics. Students have the option to major in any one of the twelve specializations, including accounting, finance, marketing, or management.

  • Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) (BCom(Hons)): This is a more advanced version of the BCom degree, with a stronger focus on research and critical thinking. Students complete an independent research project in their chosen major.

Cost:

The cost of tuition for international students varies depending on the program you choose. For example, the annual tuition fee for the BCom program is NZ$41,920 (USD$29,000).

Admission Time:

The admission cycle for international students is open twice a year, in February and July.

Admission Requirements:

For national students, the admission requirements for the BBA programs vary depending on the program you choose. However, all applicants must have completed a New Zealand National Certificate of Educational Achievement (NCEA) with a minimum of 60 credits at Level 3, including 14 credits in English and 14 credits in mathematics.

For international students, the admission requirements are as follows:

  • You must have completed a high school qualification that is equivalent to the New Zealand NCEA.
  • You must meet the English language proficiency requirements. The University of Auckland accepts a variety of English language tests, such as IELTS, TOEFL, and PTE Academic.
  • You may also be required to submit an academic transcript, a letter of recommendation, and a personal statement.
