Ariana University (AU) is the first private university in Afghanistan, established in 2004 by Professor Abdulhaq Danishmal. The university is registered with the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) and operates under its direct supervision. AU provides educational services in various fields, including medicine, engineering, economics, law, and political science, up to the graduate level. With its main campus in Sarsabzi Square, Kabul, and a second campus in Jalalabad City, Nangarhar Province, Afghanistan, AU has expanded its reach and impact on Afghan society.

Programs

AU offers a diverse range of undergraduate and graduate programs in the following disciplines:
